My Internet Marketing Journey - Dawn of a new ONLINE era

My first brush with internet marketing or online marketing started when i attended a course conducted by AIA in 2007.  Before this, I am totally ignorant of what is internet marketing let alone making money online.   During the 2-day course, I was swarmed with internet jargon and information overload.  I was a complete tech  newbie and lost in the internet information ocean.  Knowing that the internet reach is universal and there  are ways to make money online but just didn't know how.  The course opened my eyes and at least know how it was done but found it too technical for a newbie.  So the initial interest soon die and did not follow up.  After 5 years when social networking become more and more popular and soon was suck in a second time.

In 2012, enrolled in another internet marketing course.  This time, the course is simplified and very focus and then the interest grew again.While it seems and sound easy but it takes a lot of hardwork to succeed. Not all would succeed and it takes a lot of ingenuity and creativity to succeed. However, with the course, we are able to shorten the learning curve which would otherwise take longer and make load of mistakes and roadblock

One way of succeeding is to learn from the many internet marketing "gurus" - whether it was genuine or fake, and there are many information available in the internet.  Be the subscribers of the many internet masters out there.  Paid for some contents, software and subscribe to members site, free contents from the internet masters. 

EBOOKS

With the popularity of many mobile equipment, namely mobile phones, tablets and net book, obtaining information on the move is fast and convenient.  Now with millions of apps (free and paid) on iTunes and Market Play, there are no short of apps to download on all these mobile gadgets.

Printed books used to be the top sellers some time ago but not so now as ebooks had overtaken the sales of printed books.  Now anyone can surf on the go and buy copies of the ebook for reading while travelling on public transport such as the bus or the MRT trains. Hence, there is a huge potential market for Ebook, mobile apps and so on.

In addition, we can find countless Ebooks on any imaginable topics.  Just do a search on the search engines the topics that you like to download and read, you will be spoiled for choice.  Eg Ebooks are available on Amazon, Kindle Store, Clickbank, etc. Here are some examples of the Ebooks found on the internet.

My first attempt in Blogging after attending a 2-Day Asia Internet Marketing Bootcamp at Parkview in Jun 2007.

This is the first blog I created on 16 Jun 07. Its my first Blog and Post after attending a very interesting and informative Internet Marketing Course by Asian Internet Academy - AIA (which has since changed its name to WIA) and its the beginning of my internet marketing journey. Fabian Lim was the lecturer then and hence my first internet marketing Mentor.

 Since then I have not look back.....
